About Us

BOZ’S CLOZET has been a twinkle in my fashion heart for a long time. The dream of a top-line sassy and hip consignment boutique with only carefully chosen fashion pieces and accessories is one that makes both the fashion-flair girl in me happy, as well as the bargain hunter (and the woman who wants to do her bit to save our home planet by recycling and saving on the most beautiful fashion designs out there!).

So take a look in your closet for great dresses, suits, pants, tops, summer jackets, winter coats, shoes, purses, jewelery, bags—your best looks in mint condition is what we’re looking for, and what you’ll find all the time at Boz’s Clozet.

The consignment seasons follow the traditional Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter time frames, and the details and sample consignment agreement are listed here on the website too.

WHERE DID THE NAME "BOZ" COME FROM?

Boz (pronounced like BAHHZ) is a nickname that came to me in high school when a little boy had trouble pronouncing my maiden name, “Joswick” and called me “Ms. Bozwick” instead!

The "Boz" part was fun to say, and the name stuck. Now I hope that the Boz's Clozet name is both fun to say and fun to shop. It’s a name that sticks in the hearts and minds of savvy designer-minded fashioniztas all around our area, and I hope you’ll come and visit me soon!

What type of clothing does Boz's Clozet offer?

We specialize in high-end women's consignment in mint condition, offering a diverse range of apparel, jewelry, evening wear, outerwear, sweaters, and accessories. Famous Names. Fabulous Prices. Sustainable Style.

Can I host a private shopping party at Boz's Clozet?

Yes, we offer private shopping parties. Enjoy an exclusive shopping experience with friends after hours. Contact us for details and scheduling.

How does consignment work at Boz's Clozet?

Consignments are accepted by appointment only. We review your gently used women’s clothing and accessories and select items based on our inventory needs and customer preferences. You’ll earn 45% of the selling price once your item sells.

Payments are issued every other month (January, March, May, July, September, and November) on the 15th. You’ll receive a check and statement by mail, with a $1.00 mailing fee deducted from each check.

What condition should my items be in?

Items must be ready-to-sell: clean, on hangers, and free of stains, tears, missing buttons, or odors. Clothing should be no more than 2–3 years old, unless it’s vintage. Limit your drop-offs to 15 items per week, unless otherwise arranged.

What happens to unsold items after the consignment period? And what if my item is lost or damaged?

Your consignment period is defined at the time of acceptance. You may request to pick up unsold items during the final week. If items are not picked up within 7 days after the consignment period ends, they become the property of Boz’s Clozet and may be donated or discarded.

While we take care to safeguard your items, Boz’s Clozet is not liable for any loss or damage. We appreciate your understanding and trust in our process.
